Short Bio

Erik is a global hotel operations leader, who has led executive teams in 5 continents and 17 countries, fostering new hotel property development, project management and mentoring. Talented business operations executive, leading global divisions and corporate development, Erik is a seasoned relationship manager, collaborating with direct reports, clients, partners, and various ownership structures, shaping consensus, and growing asset worth. Erik has a passion for customer satisfaction and perfect service delivery. As a member of Sofitel Executive Board, he led the Sofitel repositioning strategic axe “Cousu Main” in 2009-2014, which became key in Sofitel luxury segment positioning. Throughout his 30+ year career, Erik has developed very high skills and know how for intercultural management, global hotel business management, crisis management, brand definition and repositioning, among others. In his tenure with Pan Pacific Hotel Group, and Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Erik has interacted on a one to one basis with its Chairmen in Asia, as well as with United Capital Corp. in the US. Erik is a graduate from Hotel and Catering School in Paris, and attended many continued education programmes on leadership, asset management and real estate. He is also lecturer in two business schools: EM Normandie and IES Rouen.
